CCD is a conscious practice towards change, with community through culture. Practices may be organic or they may be deliberately constructed. CCD is a valuable way of exploring identity and developing a language of exchange that can be used to foster diversity and harmony within and between cultures. They are a unique practice that works creatively with communities on their own round, on their own issues and through cultural practice. For the past twelve years I have worked on CCD projects in three different countries for not for profit organisations, schools, pre schools, councils, child care centers, community centers, hospitals, libraries as well as both private and commercial sectors.
